Season 26, Episode 01 – “Clown in the Dumps”
In the Season 26 premiere, Springfield is rocked when a resident dies; Krusty feels insulted during a comedy cable-channel roast and decides to retire; and Lisa steps in to protect Homer when she believes he’s on his way to getting hurt.

Season 26, Episode 02 – “The Wreck of the Relationships”
When Bart disrespects Homer’s authority, Homer makes a point to try his hand at parenting. This proves fruitless, so Marge signs them up for the Relation Ship, where they’ll resolve their conflicts at sea. Meanwhile, Marge is in charge of Homer’s fantasy football league, but manages to win despite being the underdog.

Season 26, Episode 03 – “Super Franchise Me”
When her sandwiches prove to be a big hit at Springfield Elementary, Marge opens a franchise store, but the day-to-day operations prove trying and, even more vexing, another of the same franchises starts doing business across the street.

Season 26, Episode 04 – “Treehouse of Horror XXV”
In a Halloween-theme episode Bart reads Aramaic symbols from the bottom of his desk and he and Lisa are transported to an alternate world filled with demons. Also, Moe organizes a “Clockwork Orange”-ish gang in which member Dum (Homer) falls for a young lady (Marge) who wants him quit. In a homage to “The Others,” the Simpsons reconnect with their earlier incarnations from the Tracey Ullman era.

Season 26, Episode 05 – “Opposites A-Frack”
Lisa hopes to counter Mr. Burns’ fracking operation by bringing in Assemblywoman Maxine Lombard, but is aghast when the two political opponents take a liking to each other.

Season 26, Episode 06 – “Simpsorama”
In a crossover episode with “Futurama,” that show’s Planet Express crew arrives in modern-day Springfield to keep the Simpsons from having a disastrous impact on the future.

Season 26, Episode 07 – “Blazed and Confused”
Bart’s new teacher at school proves to be a bully who wants to crush his spirit.

Season 26, Episode 08 – “Covercraft”
A midlife crisis leads Homer to pick up the bass guitar and join other Springfield fathers in a cover band that becomes a springboard for an unlikely breakout performer.

Season 26, Episode 09 – “I Won’t Be Home for Christmas”
It looks like Homer won’t be home for Christmas after he stays too long at Moe’s Tavern on Christmas Eve and an irate Marge tells him not to return to their house, so he’s left to wander alone around Springfield and lament the effects of Christmas spirits.

Season 26, Episode 10 – “The Man Who Came to Be Dinner”
The Simpsons get on the wrong ride on a trip to the Dizzneeland amusement park and are transported to Kang and Kodos’ home planet, where Homer finds himself on the locals’ menu.

Season 26, Episode 11 – “Bart’s New Friend”
Homer is hypnotized at the circus and made to believe he’s a young boy again, so Bart takes advantage of the situation and enlists him as his new best friend and partner in crime.

Season 26, Episode 12 – “The Musk Who Fell to Earth”
When inventor Elon Musk (voiced by himself) arrives in Springfield and befriends Homer, the two revolutionize the nuclear plant. But the ambitious Musk soon has Mr. Burns seething and Burns tries to have him removed, forcing Homer to make a tough decision.
